INDEPENDENT PIECES
Typography has been an influential part of my design education. Through coursework and mentorship from instructors with a strong typographic background, I developed an appreciation for the craftsmanship, precision, and storytelling that type can bring to a project. Learning the principles of hierarchy, composition, spacing, and letterform construction strengthened not only my typography skills, but my approach to design as a whole.
This collection features a selection of independent typography explorations that I am especially proud of. Each piece was created by hand using physical materials before being photographed and refined digitally. These projects challenged me to think beyond the screen, experiment with texture and form, and explore how typography can communicate meaning through both concept and execution.
